Dr. Leo Haydt IV
Dr. Leo A Haydt IV is the founder of Highland Implant Center, a state of the art practice focusing specifically on oral surgery and Implant dentistry. Dr. Leo has extensive training and experience in robotically-guided implant dentistry, hard and soft tissue grafting, as well as various oral surgery procedures. Above all, he is focused on providing his patients with the best and most advanced options available within in the field.
Prior to establishing Highland Implant Center, Dr. Leo has humble roots, hailing from the small town of Mountain Top, PA. Growing up in the heart of the Pokonos, he split his time between farm work and learning the ins and outs of the family business- large equipment machining. As a teenager, his family moved to Raleigh, NC where he went on to attend college, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from North Carolina State University. After college, he decided to pursue a career in dentistry, moving back up North to Massachusetts where he attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Leo is one of the nation’s leading robotically-assisted implant providers. He is a member of the Yomi Guided Surgery Advisory Board and speaks nationally for the company on a regular basis. His facility in Raleigh, North Carolina is a training center for dental professionals around the nation seeking to learn more about robotically placed implants and cutting-edge surgical techniques. With this robust skillset, Dr. Leo also has earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
When Dr. Leo is not placing implants he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsey and 3 kids- Cece, Quinn, and Cole. You can also find him playing golf, hunting, and skiing.
Dr. David Harrington
Dr. David Harrington Graduated from the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, as an original member of the very first class to graduate from that dental school. Dr. Harrington is trained and experienced in performing dental surgeries including bone grafting and implant placement, enjoys cosmetic dentistry, and is happy to provide IV sedation for his patients’ comfort. Dr. H is excited to join Tryon Family Dentistry for their wonderful team environment, commitment to an exceptional patient experience, and dedication to innovation, technology and lifelong learning.
Dr. David Harrington was born and raised in Southern Pines, North Carolina. He earned his Bachelors’ Degree in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. David and his wonderful wife Paige met in Wilmington and now have two lovely children. Their family enjoys traveling, camping and hiking, watching movies, and especially love any activities that involve the water.
Dr. Harrington enjoys membership in national and local organizations, such as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society. He is an experienced provider of Fast Braces Technology and Invisalign technology. Dr. Harrington is trained on several different implant systems, and he remains committed to continuing his education and to help innovate in all areas of dentistry, in order to provide tailored, individual care for each patient that he meets.
Dr. Kristy Bryant
Dr. Bryant is a native of Jacksonville, NC and grew up on the beautiful crystal coast. After attending East Carolina University for her undergraduate education, she went on to be a double- pirate, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) with Honors from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2019. Upon graduation, Dr. Bryant went on to attend an advanced surgical and general dental education residency at UT Health San Antonio in San Antonio, TX.
She is passionate about staying on top of the newest advancements and surgical techniques in Dentistry and is stoked to be a Yomi Platinum provider. During Dental School, she received the International College of Dentists Humanitarian award for exemplifying and demonstrating enthusiasm for altruistic human services. Dr. Bryant utilizes this drive to compassionately serve everywhere she goes, focusing on patient comfort, dental anxiety-relief, and experience in her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, Brian, tending to her plants, and spending time with her dogs, Wolfsbane, Stevie Licks, and StarFox.
